Chelsea's boss Ancelotti says victory in their remaining Premier League games is a must: EPL News
Chelsea's manager Carlo Ancelotti has urged his team that they should focus on their game if they want to retain their English Premier League crown. The team should be looking to collect
maximum points from their remaining fixtures.
The Blues are six points behind Manchester United with just four games remaining in the ongoing 2010-11 season. Ancelotti admits that the Red Devils are the favourites to win the Premier
League title, however, the Italian refuses to let the title go without a fight.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are certainly the in-form team in the Premier League. The Blues recorded an emphatic 3-0 victory over West Ham United in their last game and look ready to pounce on any mistakes,
in addition to the Red Devils' slip-up in any of their remaining fixtures.
Next, for the reigning Champions, is a home match against their fellow Londoners, Tottenham Hotspur, on April 30.
Ancelotti said, “We have to do our job and our job is to win against Tottenham. It will not be easy because Tottenham is a very good team, very strong, But I think that we want to keep open
the Premier League until the last minute. Obviously, we have to beat Man United, we have to beat Tottenham. We want to fight until the last minute of this Premier League."
The Italian admitted that he is not expecting an easy game against Harry Redknapp’s men. Furthermore, he added that the Spurs have a lot of quality in their ranks with the likes of Gareth
Bale, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Peter-Crouch-c29741 and Rafael Van der Vaart who are good enough to cause any team some serious problems.
Ancelotti surely will be keeping half-an-eye on the Emirates Stadium and hoping that the Red Devils drop points, as they are up against Arsenal in their next EPL encounter.
He added, “I think Arsenal will do their best to win. They have less chance to fight for the title. But I think Man City behind them is closer. If you arrive third, you don't have to play
the preliminary of the Champions League."
The Italian has certainly given the Gunners all the motivation ahead of their fixture on May 1.
