Neymar hints at Barcelona move
Neymar, the 19-year-old Santos striker, recently hinted that he would like to join Barcelona in the summer. The future of the Brazilian has been under speculation ever since http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 attempted to lure him to Stamford Bride last season.
Neymar rejected the move, claiming he wished to remain with Santos and signed a new 5-year deal to prove it. However, this season, the Santos forward seems to have changed his mind as he recently claimed it was his dream to live in London and play for the
Blues.
Neymar now feels the same way about La Liga giants Barcelona. The player said while talking to reporters, “I'd like to play alongside (Lionel) Messi. I think together we could form an excellent partnership. To be known as the Brazilian Messi would be terrific.
I watch Barca whenever I can - they can win everything.”
The 19-year-old has attracted interest from most of the top European sides, including Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea. The Blues are reportedly willing to pay an estimated £30 million for the highly rated striker.
However, his recent statements have left everyone in doubt as to where the Brazilian will end up. He continued, “But will I be joining Barcelona? The future belongs to God. I'm going to keep working and training hard.”
Santos have marinated their claims that Neymar is not for sale, no matter how much money is offered. Nevertheless, it is expected that as long as the price offered is more than £25 million, the Brazilian club will allow the player to leave.
While http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605 have not yet admitted interest in the player, they could be tempted by his latest statements. If that is the case then they will be facing competition from local rivals Real Madrid, who have offered to trade midfielder Kaka for Neymar.
Willian linked with a move to Chelsea
Another Brazilian wonder kid linked with a move to the top sides at the end of the season is Willian, the Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder c*m winger. The 22-year-old has the ability to play on either wing and has scored 4 goals in 17 appearances for
the Ukraine outfit.
Shakhtar Donetsk spent £12 million to bring the Brazilian to Europe from Brazilian side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Corinthians-c38855. Since then, he has been a regular in the squad and has played an important role in leading the club to two Ukraine Premier League titles twice in three seasons.
With his current form, he can be expected to fit well in Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti’s plan at Stamford Bridge. With two in-form Brazilians (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Willian-c36898 not to prosper
at the London club.
Willian was reported to have said, “Chelsea’s interest makes me happy, but there is nothing concrete as yet. There is no offer. It makes me happy, though, because it means my efforts are receiving recognition. There are some Brazilians there and they have
great players. Chelsea are a big club in England.”
