AIDEN McGEADY'S Spartak lost heavily but they remain favorites to join Chelsea, who have now qualified, in the last 16. The Blues were in command and deserved their win to give them full points from four games. Chelsea's goals came from Nicolas Anelka, Didier Drogba and a Branislav Ivanovic double with Nikita Bazhenov replying. Chelsea were in control throughout with Anelka, Drogba and Alex all spurning first-half chances. Anelka finally broke the deadlock when he shot home in the 49th minute. Evgeni Makeev then fouled Drogba for a penalty and the striker took the award himself to make it 2-0 after 61 minutes.
