These players would be missing four Ligue 1 games during the entirety of the tournament and with the winter transfer window now opened, Deschamps is keen on adding some fresh impetuous to the squad.
Reports in L’Equipe suggest that the Phoceens are now considering the curious case of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 Under-21 international Gael Kakuta. The youngster is currently under contract at English Premier League giants Chelsea FC whose manager Andre Vilas Boas has loaned
the youngster to Bolton Wanderers.
Though the Portuguese tactician sent the youngster on loan to gain some experience, Kakuta has struggled to make an impact at the Reebok Stadium. Bolton manager Owen Coyle has not really utilised the youngster as much as he should have despite his side’s
much-publicised struggles.
However, Kakuta might be on the move yet again this January. L’Equipe claims that the OM scouts and management are keeping a close eye on the Frenchman’s situation at Bolton and could start a dialogue with Chelsea in order to bring the player to the Stade
Velodrome for at least until the end of the current campaign.
Reports suggest that Marseille are not the only French side interested in the services of the youngster. Fellow Ligue 1 strugglers, Dijon FCO are also keen on bringing the youngster to their club in a bid to find a way out of their own tricky situation.
Dijon coach, Patrice Carteron has already revealed that the club has started their talks with Chelsea in order to get the youngster on a six-month loan deal which means that Marseille will be facing a tough task in order to sign the exciting talent.
