Chelsea and Manchester United looking to step up chase for Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez
Udinese and Chilean winger, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979 has been one of the hottest properties in Europe since the start of the season. The player due to his brilliant display in the FIFA World Cup 2010, managed to earn himself the recognition of being one of the best
in the business and as a result, he was linked with a potential move to a number of big teams across Europe, including the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605.
Sanchez stepped into the spotlight during the World Cup, when he went on to beat the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 at completing the most number of dribbles in the tournament. His game seems to be quite complete for a 22-year-old, as he shows
maturity well beyond his years.
Sanchez has tremendous pace, amazing dribbling ability, a keen eye for goal and the ability to dictate play no matter where he plays on the pitch. The player can also play as either a traditional winger, a second striker or take up a much more central role
and play as a creative midfielder. These abilities that the player possesses just make him a whole lot more important to the team that he plays for.
It was previously reported that a team had made a bid worth around 30-million pounds for the player in January, but the player and the Italian club went on to turn down the offer since everyone though it would be better if the Chilean stayed at the club
till the end of the season, at least.
At the moment, it seems like Manchester United and Chelsea are the front runners for landing the winger. However amongst the two, the experts are currently giving the nod to the Blues for the player’s signature over United. The reason is because United are
currently being heavily linked with a move for Palermo’s Argentine midfield magician, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082. As a result it is believed that should United indulge most of their time trying to lure the Argentine to Old Trafford, they would leave the door wide open
for the Blues to make a move for the Chilean and bring him into Stamford Bridge.
If http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 or United are to make a move for the winger, then they are going to have to set aside at least 30-million pounds to do so.
