Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed he is confident striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 will be able to lift the team after his return from the African Cup of Nations.
The 33-year-old striker failed to lead his country to success in the African Cup of Nations, losing to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zambia-c3043 in the final on Sunday. It was Drogba’s penalty miss which cost his country the coveted trophy but Andre Villas-Boas revealed he hopes the loss
won’t affect the forward too much.

According to Villas-Boas, Drogba’s return would revive the fading Blues and help them secure a top four finish to guarantee a place in the UEFA Champions League next season. He urged the player to put his disappointments behind him and start afresh with
the London side.
Villas-Boas said while speaking to reporters:
“I think so and ready to help the team. A player of his quality and so much involved with Chelsea in the past will always help.
In the month of December, he had an extremely good impact. He is a major player for us.”

He revealed:
