for a draw against the Red Devils.
The poor form has led to rumours regarding Andre Villas-Boas’ future at the club, with sources claiming the Portuguese’s days at Stamford Bridge were numbered. he was focusing on the cup competitions.
Chelsea face Birmingham City in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge next week before they are scheduled to travel to Serie A side Napoli for the UEFA Champions League clash. The 34-year-old remained confident in his side’s chances of success
in the cup competitions.
Villas-Boas said while speaking to reporters:

As for the defeat to Everton in the Premier League, Villas-Boas took all responsibility for the loss. The Portuguese manager claimed he had been at fault and that the team had done their best to overturn the disadvantage.
He revealed:
“I will reflect hard on my preparation and I will take full responsibility for the defeat. I think the players did everything they could to try to affect the result.”
He admitted he was aware of the supporter’s disappointment and hoped to make it up to them in the upcoming fixtures. Villas-Boas continued:
“Hopefully we can repay them with a good FA Cup win and progression in the Champions League.”
