According to reports Mourinho is unhappy in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 and wishes to leave the La Liga giants Real Madrid at the end of the season. He has apparently expressed interest on a possible return to Stamford Bridge next season which has cast doubts over Villas-Boas’
continuation as the Chelsea boss.
Villas-Boas, who had previously worked under Jose Mourinho, was confident he had the backing of the board at Chelsea and would not be removed even if the Special One wished to return to Stamford Bridge. He confirmed he was confident in his knowledge of his
continued rule.
Villas-Boas said while speaking to reporters:
“I have no doubts in my mind. Speculation will always come when you are unsuccessful and you are unsuccessful at Chelsea when you don't finish first.
It led to all kinds of different managerial changes in all different kinds of countries and all different kinds of top European clubs.”
The young Portuguese manager admitted there had been all sorts of rumours regarding his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 especially since the Blues had not been doing well in the Premier League. Chelsea are currently 12 points clear of the league leaders Manchester City and Manchester
United.
He revealed:
“If you were top of the league or in Man City's position, you would speculate a little bit less. But still, there is speculation also about Man City and United and their future.”
If the Blues were performing better, Villas-Boas believed he would not have been linked with a move away. As for the arrival of Mourinho, Villas-Boas believed the current Real Madrid boss would only brighten things up and make the English Premier League
more exciting, however he did not think Mourinho would be replacing him.
Villas-Boas continued:
“It will be exciting.
First we have to understand that his coming back would be excellent for the Premier League in terms of excitement and further competition and further competence, so fantastic.”
