Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas pleased with strong squad ahead of KRC Genk UEFA Champions League clash
As Chelsea prepare for KRC Genk’s visit to Stamford Bridge for the UEFA Champions League Group E clash, Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas remained confident about his squad. The Portuguese manager is expected to rest several key players for the mid-week European
fixture.

as this weekend.
The 34-year-old manager admitted he had a strong team, which would remain strong even if a few changes were made. Villas-Boas could rest the likes of skipper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044.
Villas-Boas said in an interview:
“The most important thing for us is that we are aware of the amount of talent that we have at our disposal. Any XI that we put across is a very, very strong XI.
This puts us in a position of comfort to have always a good rest. There are situations that might happen regarding the QPR game.”
With Chelsea playing newly promoted side Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 over the weekend in their English Premier League fixture, Villas-Boas is aware he can afford to rest some players. It is not yet certain however, just which players will not be featuring for Chelsea
tonight.
The KRC Genk manager, Mario Been, admitted he was not aware of which players http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 would select for the Champions League clash. Been replaced Frank Vercauteren as the manager of Genk in the summer and has been unable to retain the Belgian side’s top form.
His side travel to London as underdogs and will be more than lucky to come away with even a point against the Premier League giants. Been revealed the Blues had the advantage of a big, quality squad, something that would work in their best interest in the
various competitions.
Been revealed:
“They have a big selection with a lot of great players, so it's difficult for me to know who's playing tomorrow.”
He continued:
“They can play Anelka, they can play Drogba, they can play Torres, they can play everybody. They have a lot of players who I will say can come to Genk and help us every week to get a better result.”
