With only four games remaining in the season, the race for the title is intensifying and after last weekend it seems to be a two-horse race.
The Chelsea boss was confident his side had a very good chance of putting more pressure on Manchester United by registering a win over fifth place Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues will welcome Harry Redknapp’s side to Stamford Bridge this weekend and will look to continue their recent winning streak, while Manchester United take on third place, Arsenal, the next day.
Ancelotti was confident his side could challenge Sir Alex Ferguson’s side as the last month of this seasons Premier League approached, he said while speaking to reporters, “If we can beat Tottenham, we can put more pressure on Manchester United in the game
against Arsenal. We have two important games. The title will be decided in 14 days”.
The Italian boss was pleased with his side’s performance against West Ham United, where the Blues scored three goals to guarantee a win and secure all three points in a must-win fixture.
Ancelotti continued, “It could happen, so it was important for us to score three goals. We didn’t deserve to score three goals today, but it was good”.

However, Torres ended his goal drought against the Hammers and more goals are expected to follow. Ancelotti will be hoping Torres continues his goal scoring form in the upcoming games.
He admitted the upcoming four fixtures would be tough, especially with the pressure to win all the remaining games. He urged his side to maintain their confidence and belief, he said, “It will be difficult to win all four; we have to play very tough games.
We know that if we don’t win one game, we can lose our ambition and so there is pressure”.
