Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti hints he could make changes ahead of West Ham United clash
Chelsea boss, Carlo Ancelotti, revealed he is willing to take risks in the upcoming fixtures, as the Blues try and retain the English Premier League title.
Chelsea are currently at second place on the table, six points behind Manchester United with only five games remaining this season. If they are to have any hope of winning the title, Chelsea have to win all their remaining fixtures.
Not only that, Manchester United have to lose at least two matches for the Blues to be able to catch up. The Italian manager does not seem to be too worried about the remaining fixtures, claiming that his side were strong enough to handle the pressure. He
even hinted he could be trying a different formation and starting with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044.
While the Blues got off to an amazing start this season, they failed to maintain their dominance as they suffered their worst slump in over 15 years. Many were quick to blame Ancelotti and his 4-4-2 formation, which did not seem to suit the squad. It was
duly changed to 4-3-3 and the Blues recovered quickly and emerged as title contenders once again.
Their recent failures, most notably the UEFA Champions League quarter-final exit, has mostly been because of Fernando Torres and his failure to find the back of the net. After his £50 million move to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window, the former

Apart from his inability to score, his arrival affected the rest of the squad as well with Didier Drogba and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Anelka-c27786 losing their form too. However, since they have been getting regular starts in the Premier League they have been getting results.
The Blues recently defeated West Brom Albion away and secured a win over Birmingham City at the Bridge.
However, the Italian was confident his side had recovered from the slump earlier on in the season and were strong enough to deal with changes. Ancelotti said while speaking to reporters, “Our shape is good. The players are comfortable with that. We can change
it in the next game - it depends on the shape of the opposition team”.
Ancelotti continued, “At this stage of the season, every game is difficult. It's difficult to prepare, to stay concentrated, but we have to know we'll have a tough game. When one teams needs the points to stay up, they will do more than 100%. For this reason,
we have to be ready. It's a very tough competition, the Premier League, so anything can happen".

In a must-win match for both sides, it does not seem wise for Ancelotti to try and change a winning side, which has delivered
excellent results in the last two fixtures.
