Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti predicts success for Ramires, Daniel Sturridge eager to return to action
Ramires on his way to be the best Brazilian in the EPL
Brazilian midfielder Ramires revealed Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti had told him he had the potential to be the best Brazilian player in the English Premier League. The 24-year-old was one of the two arrivals at Stamford Bridge during the particularly slow
summer transfer window at the beginning of the season.
Ramires failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and was declared as a flop early on. However, he has recently secured a place in the starting XI after terrific performances in recent matches. He has made 27 appearances for Chelsea this season and even
though has just scored two goals; he looks to be on his way to score more.
His performance against former third place Manchester City was his most impressive so far. Not only did he put in an overall amazing performance, he scored the second goal to give his side a comfortable 2-0 win. The individual effort he put in to score the
goal has proved the midfielder is adjusting to English football.
Ramires might very well be on his way to prove the widespread belief that Brazilians cannot adjust to the English Premier League. He said while speaking to reporters, “My boss at Chelsea is my number one fan and told me I have the chance to be the best Brazilian
in the history of the Premier League.”
The former Benfica star said he was aware that he still had to put in more hard work, he continued, “I knew it would take time to adapt when I arrived. No Brazilian escapes it when he comes to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749. But now I am enjoying my best moments at Chelsea and
want to keep improving and win some trophies.”

Daniel Sturridge looking forward to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 return
Chelsea striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sturridge-c10076, who is currently on loan to Bolton, revealed he was eager to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. He has been in excellent form for Bolton, scoring four goals in six appearances and manager Owen Coyle has
made no secret of the fact that he wishes to keep him at the club.
However, the former Manchester City player insisted he had every intention of returning to the Blues at the end of the campaign. He said he was not intimidated by the competition he would have to face once he finally returned for a spot in the starting XI.
Sturridge was of course referring to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707. He said while speaking to reporters, “When I do go back to Chelsea I'm not going to be worrying about anyone who is at the club.”
