Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti uncertain about future at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti revealed he was still uncertain about his future at Stamford Bridge as the Blues played their last home game of the current season. They welcomed Newcastle United to London but failed to get a good result in the game that ended
in a 2-2 draw.
It is expected that Ancelotti will be sacked at the end of the season, having failed to win any silverware in this highly disappointing campaign. The Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly already on the look-out for a manager with whom to replace
the former AC Milan boss.

While this season has been very disappointing, the fans believe the Italian manager deserves another chance. He still has another year remaining on his current contract, which in people’s opinion he should be allowed to see out instead of being sacked.
Ancelotti himself did not have too much to say on the matter, he revealed he wished to remain in charge of the Blues until his contract expired. However, he admitted the decision was entirely up to the club and that he would accept their verdict.
Ancelotti said while speaking to reporters, “In my opinion, sometimes I did a good job, sometimes I could do better. It is the club that has to take a decision and judge my job. If my job was good, I will stay. If they think it was not good, I will have
to go.”
Ancelotti participated in the lap of honor at the end of the game with the squad, but insisted he was not saying goodbye to the Chelsea supporters. He hinted he could be staying at Chelsea if the Russian billionaire agreed to let him stay.
The Italian manager admitted her was uncertain about his future and could very well be staying at the London club next season. Ancelotti continued, “I don't know what will happen. We have to wait just one week. A week is not a long period.”
