Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti wows to beat Manchester United in quarterfinals of Champions League

The 51-year-old has expressed his excitement over the prospect of facing United and wants his side to brush the Red Devils aside. Ancelotti referred to AC Milan’s win over United as a result of complete determination and team effort and wants his outfit
to show the same determination and composure.
The manager further said that, “Winning the second leg 3-0 in the San Siro to win 5-2 on aggregate [in 2007] was one of my greatest achievements as a coach. It was a fantastic evening for Milan and a bad one for Manchester. They were surprised by the way
we started that game but it was a tie that was always in the balance.”
Ancelotti wants to become the first Chelsea manager to win the Champions League and has demanded more than 100 per cent effort from his boys. On the other hand, the manager has signified the importance of this clash as it might prove to be a turning point
in the performance of both teams in the Premier League as well.
He also has praised the abilities of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and claims that games against the Red Devils have always been a delight for both the players and the spectators.
Ancelotti added, “I am always happy to play against United because you know it will be a fantastic game with fair play. Sir Alex is one of the greatest managers ever. What I like most about him is that even though he has won a lot of trophies he has always
maintained his humility.”
Chelsea at the moment are currently third in the League table with 54 points, 9 short of the current leaders and their Champions league quarterfinal opponents, Manchester United.
