Chelsea and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Terry-c18895 revealed he was proud to have spent his career playing for just the Blues but admitted he had started to think of management now.
Terry has set and broken many of the club’s records, for example; he is the most successful captain in the Blues’ history and is currently fifth on the Chelsea all time appearance list. Having been with Chelsea since he was 14 years old, the 31-year-old
said he was proud to have spent his entire playing career with the London side.
Terry said while speaking to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 TV:
“For me, you don't see (one-club players) in this day and age. You see a couple of the Man United lads and Stevie G (Steven Gerrard) at Liverpool, but other than that you couldn't count five people on your hand.
It is a rare breed and I am really proud to have spent my whole career here.”
The Blues captain mentioned the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, players from other sides who had been with one club for most of their playing career. According to Terry, it was an honour and he hoped to continue
with the Blues for as long as he could.
After he retired from football, Terry revealed he hoped to visit Stamford Bridge to watch the games with his children. He reiterated how proud he was to have lead the Blues and the fact that he had been with Chelsea for his entire playing career.
Terry continued:
“When I finish playing I want to come back to Stamford Bridge and bring my kids to watch games and things like that.
For me, I am really proud to be at one club and no other club. I could never see myself in another shirt anyway.”
.The next step for the Blues’ skipper is management, as mentioned by him on various occasions. Terry believes he has what it takes to make a successful manager, having paid close attention to all the previous managers Chelsea had over the years and learnt
various things from them.
