Chelsea’s chief executive Ron Gourlay has said that the club are still considering their options in other managers as they continue to strive towards replacing Andre Villas Boast at the London club. Chelsea’s present manager who
is temporarily doing the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at Stamford Bridge, Roberto Di Matteo is also one of the candidates and some might say he is the perfect candidate. Ever since his appointment as Chelsea’s interim manager, the Italian tactician has brought about a change of mentality
at the club.
Not only that, he has also done significantly well in the UEFA Champions League as recently Chelsea defeated http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the semi-finals of the Champions League and are now set to face off against Bayern Munich in the final. It
will be interesting to see if Di Matteo can take them all the way to the trophy and win the Champions League, something that no London club or Chelsea manager has done before.
Ron Gourlay said, "We are going to wait until the end of the season. Robbie has done a fantastic job but we will stick to our view. I don't want to add any pressure on anybody at the club. There is enough pressure on us as it is.
We said we'd review things at the end of the season and that's the position we're still in. We'll see how the net few games go and then we'll sit down as we agreed."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Branislav-Ivanovic-c7994 has certainly come out and backed Di Matteo as he said, "He's changed everything. He gave us support, he gave us trust, and I think he's great. We have a great relationship and the results are good for us."
