Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti says http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Cole-c6809 apologises for Chelsea training incident
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 boss Carlo Ancelotti has officially announced that Ashley Cole has apologised over what happened at the Stamford Bridge training grounds. He added that the Blues’ left-back will be playing the match against Manchester United on Tuesday night.
The 30-year-old English professional footballer made cover-page news over the weekend, when he accidentally wounded intern http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-c35214 Cowan, 21, with an air rifle during the club’s training session. The student was shot when he was at a work experience at the Cobham
training ground of Chelsea club, thereby challenging the security issues of the club.
Ashley Cole is an http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international footballer who currently plays for English Premier League (EPL) club Chelsea and the England national team. He is a left-back and is regarded by some as one of the finest players in the football arena.
Cole started his professional football career by joining local club Arsenal, which he had always admired and supported. He played his senior career at the Arsenal side for eight solid seasons before making a move to Chelsea in 2006. At the Pensioners, Cole
was given the number three shirt.
Since then, he has established himself as a star player, having a plethora of accolades to his name. However, this not-so-perfect celebrity has left some loop holes in his apparently mesmerising career and life. By injuring a young student with an air rifle,
Cole has raised a lot of criticism on whether he should be allowed to play in the team for the upcoming match or not.
The Blues have remained completely silent over the matter the entire weekend. However, Ancelotti has now disclosed that Cole has admitted his guilt and that he feels true repentance for his actions. He said that at first Cole apologised to the people involved
in this and then moved on to apologise to his teammates and to the club.
“Obviously we are not happy with what happened, but I have spoken with him. He was really disappointed with this, he said sorry, he made a mistake. It was an accident. And now obviously we have taken the proper action, but tomorrow he will play and I think
he is focused to play a good game,” said the Blues’ coach. “He stepped over the line about the rules and we will take the proper action.”
The former Milan boss also affirmed that there was no possibility of the club sacking Cole, as he made an excellent professional defender for the English side.
