Chelsea confirm the appointment of Andres Villas Boas as manager
English Premier League side Chelsea have confirmed the appointment of former FC Porto boss Andres Villas Boas as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager.
The Blues have appointed the 33-year-old Portuguese manager on a three year deal to replace Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti was sacked at the end of last season, making him the sixth manager since Roman Abramovich took over the London club in 2003.
After a painfully long wait of 31 days, the Blues have finally announced the appointment of Andres Villas Boas as the new Chelsea boss.
An official statement released by the club said:

It was in the 2009-2010 season that Villas Boas decided to part ways with Mourinho to start his own managerial career, which he did at Academica de Coimbra.
