According to reports, Chelsea could off load veteran striker, Didier Drogba and replace him with Ba.
The 26 year old player from Senegal has made 27 appearances for Newcastle this season and has scored 16 times. The Blues, who have had a difficult current season, will look to land the prolific striker at Stamford Bridge as the club’s billionaire owner,
Roman Abramovich is expected to flash the chequebook in summer.
However, the player has got a release clause in his contract which is believed to be close to 10 million pounds. The French born, Senegalese International signed a three year agreement with the Magpies in June, 2011. Before that, he played for West Ham United
