Chelsea defender Alex admits Juventus dream
Chelsea’s Brazilian defender Alex revealed he was interested in a move to Serie A side Juventus, but only if the move was permanent. The 29-year-old central defender revealed he was not looking for a loan move away from the London side and would only consider
leaving if the Italian side were looking to sign him on a permanent basis.
With the Blues having brought in fellow countryman http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Terry-c18895
and the 24-year-old Luiz, which is why he is considering leaving the London club.
Juventus have reportedly shown interest in the defender, but are apparently only looking to sign Alex on a loan deal. Alex has made it clear that he does not want a loan deal, which would most likely see him return to Stamford Bridge next season. His absence
for a year would further decrease his chances of cementing a place in the first team.
Alex insisted he would only consider a move to Italy if it was a permanent move, since he was not looking for a temporary move. The player revealed it had been his dream to play for Juventus before he retired, and was looking forward to a possible move.
He said his agent was in talks with Juventus, discussing the possibility of a permanent transfer.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 said while speaking to reporters:
“I am aware of Juventus' interest, but I think they want to sign me on loan and this would not be a real alternative for me or Chelsea.
My agent has been contacted by Juventus, I am 29 years old and it would be a great opportunity. I would love to play in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 and I hope I can realise this dream before I retire.
When I talked to my agent, I told him that Juve would be a real opportunity for me.
Now, though, it all depends on Juve, who must come to an agreement with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786. It is unlikely the club will accept a loan move.”
