Chelsea legend Ron Harris believes Manchester United are starting to feel the pressure of title race
Chelsea legend Ron Harris has claimed that Premier League leaders Manchester United will be under more pressure than the Blues when the two teams meet for the crucial League encounter at Old Trafford on Sunday. Harris believes that if Chelsea manage to win
that match, they will be crowned Champions by the end of the season.
Chelsea are currently three points adrift of the Red Devils, and a win on Sunday would take them to the top of the League standings on goal difference. Their current position is remarkable, considering that they were 15 points off the pace just over two
months ago. Former Chelsea man Ron Harris believes that while the title is still Manchester United’s to lose, the Red Devils will be starting to feel the pressure, especially now that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are so close to overtaking them.
Speaking on the upcoming encounter, Harris said, “The pressure's on Manchester United. I've seen some of their games on television and they don't seem to be playing remarkably well. Over the last nine or 10 matches, Chelsea have made up all that difference.
Manchester United beat us in the Champions League but I always think cup football's completely different to league football, so that goes out of the window.
He added, "I think they'll be more worried than Chelsea will be."
Should Chelsea win on Sunday, the ultimate destination of the Premier League crown will be decided by the final two games of the season. The title race is so close this season, that the winner may be decided on goal difference. However, Ron Harris insists
that the last obstacle to Chelsea’s Premier League title retention will be Manchester United.
The Blues legend said, “Last year, they (Chelsea) had to beat Wigan at the end of the season, so they've sampled all that before. If they did get a result and win on Sunday, they're then at home to Newcastle, which you'd expect them to win. Then they go
to Everton, who have had a good run and have been a bogey side to Chelsea, but Chelsea know what they've got to do."
Chelsea are currently in second place in the Premier League standings with 70 points.
