Alvaro Pereira’s agent has confirmed interest from English Premier League side Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain for the player in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Blues were linked with 26-year-old last summer, but a deal failed to materialize with FC Porto. The Portuguese giants rejected the bid by Chelsea and Pereira subsequently signed a five-year deal with FC Porto. However, he seems to want a move away in
the summer and talks are ongoing with the club.
Chelsea are not the only side interested in the services of Pereira, with PSG also looking to sign the South American in the summer. The player’s agent confirmed he was planning to hold talks with FC Porto regarding a possible move:
‘I have not spoken with any club, but it is possible that contacts exist with Porto.

Despite Andre Villas-Boas having left, the English Premier League side have retained their interest in the player. Another player the Blues have recently been linked with is Andre Schurrle. The Bayer Leverkusen striker has admitted interest in joining the
Blues.

“I and my agent have not had any contact so we will just have to wait.
We will see how interesting it is when it becomes concrete.”
