Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he could have done a much better job at Chelsea this season, but added that there were some things this season that were beyond his control.
The fate of the Italian is still not decided and even though his team did not manage to win a single trophy this season, there is still hope that he may be restored as manager of the team.
Chelsea played their second last game of the season against Newcastle United knowing that Manchester United had already won the title, and they came unstuck against a resolute Newcastle side that held them to a 2-2 draw.  The Blues will take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 next week in the final game of the season, and after that, the future of Ancelotti is expected to be decided.

The Italian manager did admit things could have turned out better for Chelsea, but at the same time claimed he did his best for the the club and would now accept any decision the Chelsea management make.
While speaking to reporters in a press conference, Ancelotti shed light on his performance with the club this season, and his future, "In my opinion, sometimes I did a good http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684, sometimes I could do better, It is the club that has to take a decision and judge my job. If my job was good, I will stay. If they think it was not good, I will have to go."
Ancelotti won a double for Chelsea in his very first season at Stamford Bridge as the Blues won the Premier League and FA Cup. Although he didn't win any trophy this season, one thing is for sure that the Italian has the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Love-c22466 and respect of his whole team and the Chelsea faithful.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Terry-c18895 had come out in support of his manager and had said that his whole team is behind the manager and want him to carry on. As the Chelsea boss joined the team in a 'lap of honour' in their final home game of the season, the Chelsea crowd stood up and clapped as they cheered ‘ Carlo, Carlo’.
The former AC Milan boss did not show too many emotions, and made it clear that he was not waving the fans good bye, but was simply acknowledging their claps. He added that he still believes he may be able to see out the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
"I don't know what will happen," he said. "We have to wait just one week. A week is not a long period."
Whether Ancelotti stays or not, Chelsea will be going through a serious make-over this summer. Roman Abramovich is believed to have earmarked a huge sum of money for the summer purchases and is looking to reshape the team and make sure that the ageing team is given a whole new and improved look.
