Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti claims April 2011 is a season-defining month
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti sees April 2011 as the most crucial month of the ongoing 2010-11 season and claims that this month could make or break Blues’ whole season.
Ancelotti said, “The whole season rests on this moment. It will be very important. This period of the season always is, for every team. We have nine games this month. The good thing is that we are here in good form and good condition, physically and psychologically.”
Chelsea, who won the famous double of the Premier League and FA Cup in the previous season, looked well on track of retaining their title at the start of the season. However, the Blues endured a horrible mid-season in which they even slumped to fifth spot
from the top and were completely ruled out of the title race. But their recent back to back victories over Manchester United and Manchester City have put them back into contention for the Premier League crown.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men are currently placed fourth in the League, 11 points adrift of leaders Manchester United with a game in hand.

The Chelsea manager feels that the physical condition of the players will matter more than the individual abilities ahead of the Old Trafford showdown.
The former AC Milan boss feels Chelsea have what it takes to beat Manchester United at their home in both the Champions League and Premier League.
Ancelotti said, “What can decide these games? It could be the physical condition of the players, but also the courage that you have to use in these matches. You cannot be scared. It is very close between these teams in terms of ability, personality of the
players, their character.”
