Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti not looking to return to Italy just yet
Chelsea manager, Carlo Ancelotti has come forth and dismissed any and all rumours that are linking the manager to make a return to Italy. Following the manager’s inability to see Chelsea win any silverware this season, it was rumoured that he might soon
face the axe at the club. However, it seems like the manager is not to keen on those rumours and has taken time to personally label them as nothing more than rubbish.
The fifty one year old manager has been linked with a move back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603. Ancelotti spent eight years at the Italian club as a manager, but is currently not looking to rekindle his former days with the club.
When Ancelotti was asked about his future and the possibility of one day returning to Italy, the manager responded by stating: "Italy is my country and I can't say I will never go back there. I love my country.

“But in the last two years I found a fantastic atmosphere here, with no violence in the stadiums, and I would like to stay here for this reason.

"I have another year on my contract and I would like to stay but that is a decision of the club. We will arrange a meeting after the end of the season.”
However, the manager also took this opportunity to highlight on Chelsea’s season, this term. The Italian then went on to identify the players inability to live up to their expectations as one of the major drawbacks to not lifting any silverware this term.
This is despite the fact that the Blues got to within a fraction of stealing the title from under Manchester United’s nose. However, a two goals to one loss at the hands of the Red Devils this past Sunday, saw that determined late run from Chelsea amount to
nothing.
When reflecting on the current season, Ancelotti went on to add: “I am honest and I have to say that we didn't do the best. Last year was a fantastic season and this one has been a little bit different"
From a neutral point of view, it is easy to see why Ancelotti should stay at Chelsea. The manager has been getting his team to play some pretty exciting football and has shown that he has the ability to patch things up, should his initial plans go wrong.
These quick tactical changes that the manager is capable of making were one of the prime reasons for Chelsea being able to go from the fifth spot, to sitting pretty in the second spot in the English Premier League.
That being said, it would probably be better for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 to keep the Italian around, for at least another season.
