has been unable to find the back of the net for his new employers so far.
Torres’ arrival at Stamford Bridge has been an interesting dilemma for manager Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian has had to find a way to utilise his new strike force in the most effective manner possible. To achieve that, he has employed a rotation policy to
ensure that both Drogba and Torres get a share of the action.
It has been a huge change for Drogba. The Ivorian has enjoyed a position as the main striker at Chelsea for many years. But now, Torres’ inclusion in the side has resulted in the Ivory Coast international losing his automatic starting place, leading many
to believe that the striker was unhappy with the way things are going at the club.
However, Drogba has said that he understands what Ancelotti is trying to achieve. The striker claims that he is more than happy with sharing the limelight with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 if need be. He insisted that he has no qualms about sitting on the bench if that
helped the team.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti has praised his striker for his team spirit, saying, “I was very happy with Didier said in his interviews. If the players understand that rotation is important for the team, that's important. It makes my job easier to manage the team
if they understand that, and that means there's no problem.”
Now that the speculations about Drogba’s future have finally ended, Chelsea can concentrate on catching up with Premier League leaders Manchester United. The Blues are currently in fourth place in the League standings with 51 points.
