Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda: Carlo Ancelotti is a great manager and should stay

The midfielder offered his support for the manager
and hoped that he would stay with the club for many more seasons.

this season and wants Guus Hiddink to take over.
Chelsea started the season brilliantly and were widely being regarded as the favourites to win the Premier League but a patch of poor results meant Manchester United leapfrogged them into first place. The club still has a chance to win the title with a must
win situation at Old Trafford next week against Manchester United.
Malouda claimed that the Italian has been brilliant since joining the club last season. He stated that the manager brought success to the club as Chelsea won the domestic double after three years.
The Frenchman added that the club are still in contention for the Premier League and anything can happen at this stage. He admitted that Chelsea have had a poor season but the manager doesn’t deserve the criticism.
“It's unfair. He's one of the greatest managers. He's good tactically. He's brought stability to the club, won the double at the first attempt. Because we are now out of three competitions and six points behind United, people outside are saying Chelsea should
change everything. But all the big clubs have stability,” he was quoted as saying.
The former Olympique Lyon midfielder insists Ancelotti is the man for Chelsea and he can help the club win the UEFA Champions League in the future with his experience.
“I want Ancelotti to stay. Players come and go but the manager is the key. We can win the Champions League under him one day,” he concluded.
Florent Malouda has scored 13 goals for the Londoners this season in 35 league appearances.
