Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien recalled to Ghana’s national squad

Essien had made himself unavailable after suffering two serious injuries, the first of which he picked up in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Angola-c2838 while playing at the Nations Cup in 2010.
The 28-year-old midfield talisman, only made himself available for international duty earlier this month after having returned to full fitness with Chelsea.

Essien has not played for his national side since his 45-minute cameo against Ivory Coast back in January 2010.
The Black Stars will face Congo in group I of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, while on the 7th of June they will face Park Ji Sung’s South Korea in a friendly encounter.
