Chelsea holding midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 to shine for Spain in the European Championships despite having a tough season with the Blues.

“I think that Torres will be a very important player for the national team at the Euros because he is a player with great quality and experience and these characteristics are very important in a forward.
He is very important for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 too. You only have to look at how the fans love him and chant his name, whilst he is also loved amongst the players and directors at the club.”
The 20-year-old revealed he believes Torres was an essential player for both club and country, even though he had been unable to show it in the past season. According to Romeu, Torres was extremely popular at the club, amongst the fans and the other players.
Having previously been left out of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Venezuela-c3039 in February, Torres has made a strong comeback, going on to score in the last friendly for Spain. Romeu believes being left out of the team had only encouraged Torres to fight for his place in the team.
He revealed:
“When Del Bosque left him out he did so to give him a warning and he took it well, naturally he continued to work until the end of the season and now he is there with a great chance of having a good European Championship.”
Romeu is certain the Spain striker would go on to have a strong impact for the Spanish side in the European Championships.
