Chelsea midfielder Ramires has backed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 to join Chelsea, after the FC Porto striker was linked with the English Premier League side.
Ever since Andre Villas-Boas took charge of Chelsea from FC Porto, the Blues have been linked with many players from the Portuguese side, including Hulk. While the move did not go through last season, it seems highly likely the Blues will secure the 25-year-old
this time around.
The striker himself has hinted on a move away from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 and seems to be preparing fans for his imminent departure from the club. Hulk thanked the club and the fans for their unconditional support and asked them to understand his decision to leave for
a new club.
Ramires revealed he had been monitoring the situation while he was on holiday and said he believed Hulk would be the perfect signing for Chelsea. Having previously played alongside Hulk in the Brazil national team, Ramires is aware of exactly what Hulk is
capable of and was certain the striker would have a lot to contribute to the Champions League winners.
Ramires said while speaking to reporters:
“I'm following here from Brazil the news about Chelsea's likely signing of Hulk. I hope he does come, I have played with him for the Brazilian national team, and I also played against him when I was at Benfica and he would surely add a lot to Chelsea's
squad.”
Meanwhile, speaking of the upcoming European Championships, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, Ramires revealed
he would be hoping Portugal did well in the tournament.
He revealed:
“I'm supporting England and Spain as those are the teams that have more http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-Meireles-c30678.
Some other team-mates are also playing the tournament, such as Malouda for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899. I hope some of them shine in the competition as that will be good for Chelsea.”
