Chelsea Football Club have gone on to part ways with their former manager, Roberto Di Matteo, who has now left the club.
Di Matteo was initially appointed as an interim manager of the Blues after they parted ways with Andre Villas-Boas last season.
However, with him doing a rather impressive http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 with the team, the club decided to keep a hold of the Italian manager, who was formerly a player for the club.
In his short spell with the club, he went on to help the team win the FA Cup and their first ever Champions League trophy.
Many feel that Di Matteo was lucky to have won the coveted European Cup, but considering that he won it, there can’t be any doubts over his ability.
This season, things started off on a very high note for the Blues, as they were sitting pretty on top of the league table and looked set to be the all out favourites to win the league.
However, with them suffering a slump in form, things seemed to fall apart for the team.
They club is currently looking rather unlikely to make it out of the Champions League group stages, as their closest rivals only need one point to make it to the next round of the contest.
Di Matteo went on to take responsibility for this poor display by the team in recent weeks, and the club’s board seems to have agreed with what the manager said.
