http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Terry-c18895 has revealed he is hopeful he will return to action soon for the London side despite having sustained a knee injury.
The central defender is in a race against time to be fit for the upcoming clash against Sunderland over this weekend. Terry picked up the injury during the match against Portsmouth in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
While he was unable to continue against Portsmouth, he is hopeful he will be able to return for the English Premier League fixture against Sunderland. Swelling forced Terry to undergo a fitness test before the Portsmouth game, which he chose to play after
an injection.
Terry said while speaking to reporters:
“I have been struggling with the other knee but I clattered into the post with my right knee.
All is fine. It's a little bit swollen but I am sure with the couple of days off we have, it will heal.”
With John Terry looking to be not at his best and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Cahill-c14439 will be completing his move to Chelsea soon.
