http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Petr-Cech-c29837, the Chelsea goalkeeper revealed he believed the Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas did not deserve to be judged until the end of the 2011-2012 season.
Villas-Boas was appointed the manager of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in the summer after owner Roman Abramovich sacked previous manager Carlo Ancelotti for lack of silverware. The 34-year-old was brought in to change the way things were run at the club and deliver much sought
after trophies.
However, the young Portuguese manager has not has the best of the starts in the English Premier League and after the loss to Aston Villa, there has been talk of sacking Villas-Boas. The Blues stopper urged everyone to slow down and give the manager time.
Cech said while speaking to reporters:
“He has brought a different philosophy of football and he tries to do things his way.
Now we need to wait until the end of the season and then judge - because I think there's a lot of potential here.”
The London side have seen both ups and downs this season, after an impressive win over league leaders Manchester City, they have gone on to lose to lower sides. This has caused an uproar amongst supporters and many have called for Villas-Boas’ removal.
Cech did not agree with the fans, claiming the Blues boss needed time to prove himself in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749. He urged everyone to be calm, patient and supportive so that the Portuguese manager could show just what he was made of.
He claimed:
“We've shown that many times this season and that we can play good football. Hopefully, this will get even better.”
According to Cech, the Chelsea boss had managed to impress him by the way he did things. In training and the way he was trying to make things better at the club. He said it was a huge improvement for him to have taken over the manager’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at the young

Cech continued:
“It comes down to the personality and character. If players are 16 and good enough, then they play.
And it's the same with the manager. He came here at the age of 33, not because someone is trying to see a miracle but because everybody knew about his quality.”
