“Chelsea told me that I would spend two years in a team like Atletico.
At the moment is only one year, but if they want me for a second Chelsea are fine with that. It is possible.”
When the current loan move comes to an end next summer, Courtois intends to join a Premier League side for another season or two before finally returning to Stamford Bridge. He felt it would be best to help him adjust to English football, mentioning the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham as possible teams he could join.
He revealed:
“After that I would then spend one more season with an English club, like Fulham or Tottenham, to allow me to adapt to the English league.”
If and when Courtois returns to Chelsea, he will be replacing the current Blues number one, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Petr-Cech-c29837. The 29-year-old is considered to be one of the top goalkeepers in the English Premier League, but the youngster is aware of the problems Cech suffers from that could potentially affect his performance.
Courtois admitted:
“He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. But he has problems with his knees and with his back.”

“I know that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-de-Gea-c10463 is a very good goalkeeper and it is difficult to start off here because the pressure from the fans as they are used to having a great keeper.”
Courtois acknowledged the pressure De Gea had to bear, playing for a top side like Manchester United in the Premier League. He admitted that he was willing to wait for his chance to play for Chelsea and currently wanted to focus on improving his game and enjoying football.
