Serie A side Napoli have tried to warn off suitors for striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 reportedly interested in signing the Uruguayan.
Along with interest from the Champions League winners, Cavani has been linked with some of the top clubs in Europe, including Manchester City and Juventus. Juventus have reportedly even made a bid for Cavani, which was rejected by Napoli.
Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon has confirmed that Napoli have no intention of parting ways with one of their best players. He stressed the Italian side were determined to keep hold of the 25-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Uruguay-c3035 international, saying in an interview:
“Cavani is not for sale and he doesn't want to move from Naples.”
He continued:
“I reiterate that Cavani will remain at Napoli.”
Cavani joined the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danubio-c38898 in 2000, where he stayed until 2005 after which he made his debut for the senior team. The striker had nine goals in his debut season, which helped the side on their way to the Apertura 2006 championship.

He waited until March to make his debut but went on to score an extremely important equalizer
against Fiorentina.
He soon found himself competing for a place in the starting XI against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381 left. He scored 37 goals in the Serie A in 117 appearances, leaving Palermo to join Napoli in the summer of 2010.
He has had an extremely successful spell at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, making 94 appearances in the league and maintaining an impressive goal tally of 66. It is Cavani’s top form which has earned him interest from the top European clubs who are looking to strengthen their
respective squads before the new season kicks off.
Chelsea are amongst the contenders fighting to sign Cavani, with the Blues looking to bring in a striker to replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044. The Ivory Coast international left Stamford Bridge after eight years and has left a void in the squad, which needs to be filled
by another top striker.
