Neymar’s agent, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wagner-c36524 Ribeiro, claimed his considered his client to be as good as Lionel Messi, who is thought to be one of the best football players in the world.
Ribeiro said while speaking to reporters:
“Neymar is exactly like Messi in my opinion.
He will soon be the best player in the world. He is a player unlike any other player.
He is only 19-years-old, but all the big clubs already want him.”
Messi has won the FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2010 and 2009, along with the FIFPro World Player of the Year. He also claimed the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2009.
At only 23-years-old, Messi finished his seventh successful season at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Total-c40747 of 269 appearances in all competitions, having scored 180 goals and provided 73 assists.
The Barcelona striker made his debut for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 senior team in 2005 and has made 55 appearances since then.
Neymar, on the other hand, has had just three seasons at Santos since making his senior debut and just has 4 international caps under his belt.

While it is true there is great demand for Neymar, with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Real Madrid and Manchester City keeping an eye on the youngster, it seems absurd to compare the youngster to the Argentinean star.
Even though Madrid are rumoured to be interested in signing the Santos starlet, they have not yet made an official offer.
Ribeiro revealed that while his client was interested in a move to a top European club, he planned to focus on the upcoming Copa Libertadores final.
Neymar’s agent confirmed:

He just wants to focus on winning the Copa Libertadores now.
There is too much at stake to talk about a transfer.”
Santos will take on Penarol in the final of the competition on 15th of June, with the second leg taking place after a week.
This recent statement by the player’s agent seems to rule out a move to long time suitors Chelsea.
The Blues have been attempting to sign Neymar since last summer, but were unable to secure his signature.
Neymar did indicate he was interested in making a move to the London club earlier, but he seems to have changed his mind yet again.
Chelsea are planning to spend big in the summer transfer window and currently have a budget of £90 million.
