Chelsea target Stevan Jovetic says no to the English Premier League

http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Stevan-Jovetic-c34163, the Fiorentina forward, has revealed he currently has no plans to leave his current side and join the English Premier League.
After attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Chelsea, the 22-year-old revealed he intended to stay on with the Italian side. He recently signed a contract extension with Fiorentina which will expire in 2016.
The striker admitted that he had been flattered by the interest shown by foreign clubs but at the moment intended to stay on with Fiorentina. He believed he still had a lot to offer to the Italian side in terms of goals and assists.
Jovetic said while speaking to reporters:
“I have always had a wonderful relationship both with executives and with the fans who have supported me all the time.
So I decided to stay in Florence because I want to give so much to this team with goals and assists.”
Meanwhile, Jovetic’s agent Fali Ramadani also rejected rumours linking his client to the English Premier League. He claimed the player had indeed been linked with a few clubs but for the moment intended to remain with his current club.
His agent revealed:
“The British clubs are ready to go mad for Stevan? There is no truth, these are just rumours.
This is not the time to be speaking about the market, nor for now, neither for the future.”
The Blues were reportedly interested in signing the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 has failed to perform for them. Jovetic would have been a long term replacement for the Spaniard striker.

There is no surprise the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager Andre Villas-Boas is looking to bring in more strikers to strengthen the squad. While they were unable to bring in any forwards in the winter transfer window, they will be looking to bring in more signings.
As to who those signings will be, one will have to wait until the summers to find out.
