Chelsea to make formal approach for Guus Hiddink
It is being reported that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are looking to step up their bid to land Turkish manager, Guus Hiddink. The team has been linked with a move for the manager for quite some time now, however, it seems like they are finally looking to make their official approach
for the Dutchman.
The team is set to make an approach towards the Turkish FA, in order to convince them to part ways with the manager.
In doing so, the team will also have to offer as much as four million pounds to the Turkish FA, in order to compensate for the manager’s departure.
At the same time, should the team secure the manager’s services, they would have to dish out as much as six million pounds a year, in wages to the manager.
Despite those figures appearing to be rather high for a normal club, they happen to be in the highly affordable range for Chelsea and this can only mean Hiddink is set to be on his way to Chelsea in the coming weeks.
