Chelsea close to signing the New Kaka, Lucas Piazon
English Premier League defending Champions, Chelsea are reportedly close to signing Sao Paulo’s 17-year-old star Lucas Piazon, who has earned recognition because of his similarities to Real Madrid midfielder Kaka. The Blues have been tracking Piazon for
about two years now and are willing to pay up to £8 million to secure his signature.
Piazon currently plays for Brazil in the South American under-17 Championship and like Kaka, is an excellent attacking midfielder. He has previously been linked with sides like Juventus and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, but the player has agreed to sign with Chelsea and is
scheduled to undergo a medical test next month.
Even though he will be undergoing medical tests at Chelsea soon, Piazon will not be signing with the Blues until next January, after his 18th birthday. The youngster is owned by both his club and agent Giuliano Bertolucci and so far there has
been an agreement on his move to Stamford Bridge.
Piazon is often compared to Kaka and is sometimes even referred to as the “New Kaka” because of the similar style of play both players have. In addition to that, the Real Madrid star midfielder also started off at Sao Paulo before he left for AC Milan in

There were speculations that Chelsea were chasing Kaka after rumors that the Brazil International was unhappy at Madrid under manager Jose Mourinho. However, the Blues are facing tough competition from Manchester City for the player and might just be satisfied
having signed the 'New Kaka'.
Piazon was already under Chelsea’s radar when he impressed with the Brazil under-15 side in the 2009 South American Championship. The youngster was the highest goal scorer with ten goals and played an important part in his side finishing runner-up in the
