Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic snubs Real Madrid

Chelsea defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Branislav-Ivanovic-c7994 has admitted that while La Liga giants Real Madrid are interested in signing him he is not looking for a move away.
Recent reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 revealed that Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho was looking to strengthen his squad and had identified Ivanovic as a possible target in the summer transfer window. Ivanovic has been in terrific form this past season which has earned
him interest from various sides.
Even though he was unable to play in the UEFA Champions League final due to suspension, Ivanovic did well to help his side get to that point. In addition to that, Ivanovic revealed he had no intention to part ways with the London club after just winning
the coveted European Cup with them.
The Blues took on German side Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the UEFA Champions League final and despite being a goal down, they managed to equalize and take it to a penalty shoot-out, which http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 managed to win 4-3.
With the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup win, Chelsea have done better than the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Tottenham Hotspur, despite finishing well below them on the English Premier League table.
Even though their sixth place finish did not guarantee them a place in next seasons Champions League, winning the European competition more than made up for it. The Blues will now be happy knowing they will be in contention for the Champions League once
again next season.
Ivanovic said in an interview:
“I know what has been written about my future and that Madrid are following me, but now is not the time to talk about this. I am focused on the national team now and I am very happy at Chelsea." 
The 28-year-old revealed he was currently focusing on the European Championships, after which he expected to return to Chelsea. The central defender c*m right back insisted he had no plans of leaving Stamford Bridge any time in the near future.
He continued:
“I won the Champions League just one week ago and to think about changing clubs now is complicated. I am very happy in London.”
