http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florent-Malouda-c13838 denied reports linking him to a move away from Stamford Bridge to join Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
While he admitted the rumours claiming he had already agreed a deal with Anzhi were untrue, he did reveal he was unhappy with the London side. Under the management of Andre Villas-Boas, Malouda has not had too much first team play time.
The 31-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, which was some time last month.
From being a first team player, Malouda now finds himself on the bench for mostly every game. The Frenchman once again came on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw against Fulham at Stamford Bridge on the Boxing Day clash.
It is for this reason there have been plenty of reports linking Malouda away from Chelsea in the upcoming January transfer window. It is believed that the Blues have not offered him a contract extension and he will be leaving either in the winter transfer
window or at the end of the season.
While Anzhi might seem like the perfect move for Malouda, as he can expect a healthy pay check and somewhat regular football, he denied the reports. According to Malouda, he could not even pronounce the name of the club, let alone have signed a deal with
them.
Malouda said while speaking to reporters:
“I couldn't even manage to pronounce the name of this team. I don't know from where these rumours come, when they don't have any base in reality.
The France international insisted he had no reason to deny the truth and claimed he was being transparent in his statement. He hinted that while a move could be in the cards for him, it was not to the Russian side, Anzhi Makhachkala, as stated by the earlier
reports.
He continued:
“Me, I am someone who prefers transparency. I don't have anything to hide, so I'm telling you the truth.”
