Chelsea’s Florent Malouda issues title warning to Manchester United: EPL news
Chelsea midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florent-Malouda-c13838 has fired off a warning to League leaders Manchester United, saying that the Blues will give it their all in a bid to retain their Barclays Premier League title.
Despite enduring their worst run of form in a decade this season, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 somehow still find themselves in with a shot of winning the Barclays Premier League crown. The Blues are currently in second place, six points behind Manchester United, with just five
games of the season left to play. It has now become a three way race for the title, as Arsenal are also six points adrift of the leaders.
A six-point gap might be considered too much to overcome, but the crucial factor is that both Arsenal and Chelsea still have to face Manchester United in the League. It’s anyone’s guess now as to which side will be lifting the crown at the end of the season.
Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda knows that anything can happen in the remaining games of the season, but he has urged his team-mates to focus on winning their own matches.
Speaking about the title race, the Frenchman said, “The title race is open for the three teams. We have no choice but to win every game to put pressure on Man United. They have to play at Arsenal but we have to play our part by winning our games. We have
to stay humble, we know where we are coming from."
He added, " We had difficult moments we had to overcome to come back to the second place and now we have to play at our best level. We have to give everything until the end of the season."
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is a man under pressure at the moment. It is widely believed that anything less than the Premier League title will bring an end to the Italian’s reign at Stamford Bridge. Can Ancelotti lead the Blues to an unlikely League
title and save his job? We will find out in the coming weeks.
