Chelsea’s John Terry confident of winning against Manchester United at Old Trafford
Chelsea defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 can repeat last year’s feat of
beating United this year as they have the quality and depth in their squad.
The Blues will face Manchester United in what is widely being tipped as the title deciding clash, at Old Trafford on Sunday, May 8. Chelsea are in second place on the Premier League table with 70 points and are three points behind leaders United. A win would
see the Blues leapfrog Alex Ferguson’s side due to a superior goal difference.
Terry said that his side is well capable of repeating what happened at Old Trafford last year, which was also deemed as a title deciding game. He stated that the clash is their most important game of the season and the winner will certainly take the League
this term.
“We showed when we went to Old Trafford and won last year, which was the decisive game, that we could do it. There is no reason why we cannot do it again,” the defender was quoted as saying in an interview.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 International defended his side’s bad patch at the end of last year, which cost them the first place to United, and stated that every team has its bad days. He insisted that the club is now going through a great run of form and hoped that he
could end the season with the Premier League trophy in his hand.
“Each season you know you are going to hit a bad spell and it is about how quickly you can get out of it. We got out of it very quickly last year, and have taken a little longer this time – but once again we are right back in the frame. There is nothing
I want more than to bring back that trophy,” he concluded.
Chelsea will have games against Newcastle United and Everton after their clash with the Red Devils at the weekend.
