What is the base-10 logarithm of the molar concentration of a salt, AX, with pKsp = 61.424?

  1. if the pKsp = 61.424 , the the log K =  - 61.424

    if the log = - 61.424 ,  then 10 to the -61.424 is 3.767 e-62

    Ksp = 3.767e-62 = [A][X]

    take the square root, to get [X]:

    1.94 e-31 Molar

    that's your answer: 1.94e-31 Molar,

    because every mol/litre of AX that "dissolves" gives [X}
