    B: Chemical - The beach reacts with the stain to either hide it or help it be removed

    C: Chemical - the wax chemically combines with the Oxygen in air to produce heat and light

    D: Physical - the butter goes from solid to liquid but is not changed chemically

    A: generally volume over time ie litres per hour. Note sometimes other units are used eg Sverdrup which is kilolitres per second per square kilometre (used for measuring ocean currents)

    B: distance over time ie kilometres per hour

    C: volume: Generally cubic metres although sometimes referred to as litres 1 cubic meter = 1000 kilolitres or 1000 litres
