which one is a better career for the future, which gets paid more and which one do you think involves more math?

  1. You'll make more as a ChemE.  I would say neither.  In the real world very little math is used.


  2. Many more jobs are in electronics. You'll use > math day-to-day overall its a much better career path (pays more).

    Chemical jobs are more limited to research.

  3. chemical would involve more math,and if you're good at that,then that's the one i would go for

  4. do not ever choose a career based on what makes more money or what is more tuff. they are both math intensive, EE probably more so. Chem E's get paid about $5000 more on avg, starting, but EE has a wider range of things you can branch out into.

  5. Electrical Engineering because its so broad. It involves as much if not more math then Chemical Engineering.

  6. the question is, what makes you happier?
