Chemical Vs. Flat irons?

i flat iron my hair every single day and it is getting to be really damaged, i have a friend whos mom is a hair dresser that can chemically straighten my hair for a super cheap price. but my parents think that it is bad would i damage my hair more than what i am already doing?

  1. DONT DO IT! Try to flat iron less as possible. Always put a good heat protector on my hair by redken and always clip away dead ends also i put olive oil on my ends b4 i flat iron it makes a big difference. Also the flat iron you use makes a big difference in how your hair looks.Buy a good ceramic flat iron . i use GHD its about $200 in sephora but it works wonders and it prevents hair damage completely. Also use carols daughters products they are all natural products to make your hair healthy.

  2. Yes it will. I had one done last December, and my hair is still damaged. After chemical straightening, you will still have to blowdry and flat iron it or it looks like c**p, and it doesnt really cut down on time either. Only difference is that your hair will feel like straw. Even when its wet, it feels dry. I wouldnt do it, it wont do anything but ruin your hair
