Chemical and Nuclear equations?

by  |  earlier

The question asks: "When balancing a nuclear equation, what two quantities must be conserved? How is tis different from balancing other chemistry equations?"

For the first question I know the answer is: "In a nuclear equation both the atomic number and the mass number must be conserved".

But I don't know the answer to the second question.

Please help.
