what kind of jobs can Chemical Engineers do? on which feilds? and are they well-paid?

I can tell you about my late Uncle George, who died in May, and was a graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in chemical engineering.  He went to work for the Union Carbide Corp. after college and rose to a high level in that company.  He traveled all over the world for the company for many years, and even wrote books about his adventures.  He invented new products on his own time and acquired patents for them.  Later on, he became president of a European-based perfume manufacturing company and bought an historic estate, London Purchase Farm, near company headquarters in Pennsylvania.  He left his wife and family an estate valued in the millions of dollars.  In short, he became a successful man, a good husband, and a loving father.
