Chemicals in Animal testing?

I am doing a debate for class and my topic is cosmetic animal testing, like shampoo, make up, and other stuff like that. And instead of focusing on the product I'm focusing on the chemicals but I don't know the dangerous chemicals in the products. And if there is any other information you can give me for my debate I would appreciate it.

The chemicals used are many and varied, read some labels and do some web research on them.  Remember that natural and organic say nothing about toxic or safe.  Also consider that animal testing is mandated by laws not the cosmetic companies.  It is cruel but for for every tortured rabbit many people are saved the same fate.
